When a track has been completely “produced” and all the musical elements are in place, the final stage is mixing and mastering. This is often the difference between something sounding amateur or professional and is essential for platforms such as online stores Spotify, radio stations, and television.
The arrangement of a song refers to the actual structure or layout of a song or production and can consist of the reconceptualization of a previously composed work. It may differ from the original work through reharmonization, melodic paraphrasing, orchestration, or development of the formal structure. This part of the process could consist of anything from small touchups, removing a few sounds from a song, to structural changes or timing adjustments. Sometimes a few small changes make a big difference.
Once an instrumental track is ready, whether it was made by CTT Beats Studios or not, the vocals can be recorded in our studio. A sound engineer/vocal producer will be provided and they will work along with the artist to get the best possible vocals recorded. A selection of vocal microphones and various recording equipment will be available for this process. Vocal recording is charged at an hourly rate, therefore it is up to the artist how much detail they want to go into. It is also in the artist’s interest to be well prepared.
For short, or feature-length films we can compose and produce original music to enhance the film. ur experienced composer would work alongside our producer and the director of the film to create several songs to be used for specific scenes. There would usually be consistency within these songs such as a recurring theme, instrumentation, style, or genre
This is the process of creating an original song from start to finish. The artist can provide a pre-written demo song which we can turn into a produced track according to a reference song, genre, or idea. An alternative is creating the song along with the studio’s composer and producers according to an idea or reference given. The studio composer and producers can create a track ahead of the session for the artist, all they need is to provide the lyrics. Either way, once the foundation of the music production has been completed the artist can work with the vocal producer and engineer to record the vocals. Final additions to the production, as well as mixing, mastering, and referencing is done.
